''This used to be the one of the first places we'd go to after arriving in Ocracoke. The walk down Howard Street is not to be missed! However, the past couple of times we've gone, we haven't bought a thing. The prices are too high! As a crafter, I appreciate the time and talent to create a handmade item, but the pottery and other items are overpriced. Still, it's worth a visit....''
''I bought a pair of Birdwells last summer when we were on Ocracoke. I didn't know they even made them anymore. The shop is sort of small but they had a lot of great stuff and we found everything we needed before hitting the beach. Prices were reasonable too. Can't wait to come back next year!...''
