''If you are in the mood for tapas, Metropolis is the place. Great wine list, wonderful martini list, and excellent tapas. There are obviously better places in Corolla for a traditional ''dinner'', but it's excellent for its niche....''
''I love going to Corolla Brew Pub for dinner! The owners are so attentive and the food is Outstanding! Husband had the meatloaf special one night WOW! He said it was the best he'd ever had! The specialty beers are great too....''
''well.. I have always love DQ so when me and my friends head down cape hatteras the last thing that I would imagine was to find a DQ.. but it was great.. ice cream was delicius and the service? the have this really cool kids working down there and they all seem to be from all over the world.. it was pretty cool....''
''We stopped by the Nags Head location (right next to Kitty Hawk Kites) and we thought it was really good. We had the pork bbq sandwiches, and the sides were really good. I didn't think the prices were that bad for pretty good food. I've paid more for food that wasn't nearly this good. The service was quick too. The only negatives were that the condiment containers on the table didn't seem very clean. That's why I gave it a lower ambience rating. The building could use some fixing up too. F...''
''The new owners sure do have thier act together! everything was definitly 5 star. Food defines traditional and coastal Italian! The wine list is broken down by regions of Italy wich is helpful and very reasonably priced. The service could not have been any better! We were with 2 children and they still managed to treat us like a fine dining table! BRAVO!...''
''Fantastic food! It was very refreshing to find such a great place in Corolla, as many believe the best food is found at the much pricier Duck restaurants. The crabcakes were absolutely mouthwatering; I wasn't a huge fan of the corn salsa served with them, but the remoulade the server recommended was a great twist on the traditional tartar sauce. The tuna was also exceptional. The prices are a bit high (expect to pay $75-$100 for two), but this was indeed the best meal we had during our lates...''
''Very unique cuisine for the area. Owners are very nice and hospitable. The food is fantastic. I frequent the Bad Bean at least twice a week. This is a must do if you are in the area....''
''The strip mall location is a little off putting but this is without a doubt my favorite food in Corolla. I've been three times 2 years in a row and I plan to keep going back. I've had the tuna steak wrapped in bacon and the filet wrapped in bacon on two seperate occasions and they were to die for. On another occasion I had the chicken cesear salad and a mango daquiri for lunch which was also very good. The manager/host was wonderfully personable taking the time to talk to us about out hometown a...''
''Of course every store raises their prices during the summer season. That being said, the pizza is really good. We order from here every year, and just pick it up, thereby forgoing the long in-store wait....''
''It's a diner in the Hampton Inn parking lot. The food is basically what you'd expect. Decent food, good service, and right there on the beach. I recommend digesting by ''visiting'' the Hampton's pool and lazy river afterward....''
''THE best wine selection on the beach. We had a private wedding party there after eating there. We ate there on Tuesday and decided to go back three times in the same week. Everyone must try the experience but maybe leave the kids at home. Simply awesome and to talk about!...''
''wonderful pasteries and coffee. We stop here everyday while on vacation. We have been coming here for 5 years and John the owner welcomes us back every year...''

''We normally run down to Bacchus from our house in The Currituck Club - it's just down the road a piece. The sandwiches are fresh, large and extremely tasty. Pick up some of the homemade salsa for your house. Great Cheese assortment, with crackers, toppings, etc. Desserts are to die for! Visit the wine shop. They are very helpful, and have a nice assortment. We have also used them for cottage gift baskets - which are very nice - or, you can order a gift basket to take home as a gift from O...''
''We asked at an art gallery where we could go for a nice meal not touristy this place was recommended. While the ambiance was sorely lacking (we were also sitting outside), once our crab cakes appeared it was irrelevant. Absolutely delicious!!!!...''
''It took forever to get the food, even though there were two or three of us in the entire restaurant. Food was pricy, the waitress was too busy brushing her hair at the hostess stand to even realize that we had been without drinks our entire meal and not once did she come back to check on us! We spoke with the manager about the lack of customer skills and he did absolutely, nothing. As a business owner myself, I am shocked that when it comes to customer service, people now a days, seem to forget...''
''I've never paid $4.00 for an ice cream cone before, but it is vacation! That being said, the homemade ice cream is outstanding, and almost worth the multiple visits during the week....''
