Ocean Waves Campground is an oceanfront campground on Hatteras Island that offers 68 RV and tent sites. Hot and cold water are available at the campground, as well as sewer and cable hookups. Also on site you will find the convenience of a laundry facility, camp store, gameroom and swimming pool. The campground is open from March 15 to November 15 and pets are allowed.

RVing at its best

Being just a walk to the beach and being able to hear the surf from the RV was the best. Campers, staff, and pets are quiet, clean and friendly.

OWC is best in the area

OWC is the best little campground in Cape Hatteras, at HALF the cost of the bigger campgrounds, but has all the amenities, water, 50amp elect, sewer, CaTV, oceanfront, even has shade tree's, freindly owners & staff too!
