For lunch or dinner, the Top Dog offers burgers, steamed seafood, subs, shrimp and oyster baskets, all-beef hot dogs, salads and wonderful appetizers. You can eat inside, on the screened porch or on the sound-view sundeck. This is a great place to take the whole family as there are special kids' offerings and the atmosphere is casual. Take-out is available.

The food is so fresh and wonderfully prepared and it is such a great value. You can't find food this good anywhere on the island for such a great price. They have unique menu items and the atmosphere is so nice and relaxed. Great service too! I reccomend the fish tacos and the island slaw. But bring your appetite because the tacos are huge! | |

Last year on our first trip to Hatteras, we stopped here for a few beers and lunch and all 6 of us enjoyed our food and the atmosphere.
