Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Very good experience at Martin's Point Vet
By Lucie on 8/22/2008
We were on vacation when our dog got sick. I was very pleased with the facility and the care at Martin's Point Vet Clinic. They could not have been more helpful or nice. Thanks for a great experience .

If you love your pet, don't board them here!!!!
By an NCBeaches Guest on 8/20/2008
We left our dog here for a week while on vacation, they would not let me see the area in back where my dog was being kept. I sent her with food for 6 nights and she came home with food (which meant she went without food for a whole day, they're individual packets of wet food and they were told to give her one a day). I sent her with bones to chew while stuck in a cage for the week and she came back with all three bones, not one of them was given to her. She was very lethargic when we picked her up and drank about a quart of water which is a lot for an 11 lb. shih tzu!! I feel that she was definitely neglected while in their care and will not be using them again. Think twice before boarding!

Good option
By Melissa on 8/4/2008
Our dog stayed here for a week. It was nice to be able to visit him during our vacation and take him to the beach. He seemed well taken care of by the nice and friendly staff. He also was less stressed than he would have been at another kennel because he got to spend time with us throughout the week.

Great Docs
By John on 7/3/2008
We are locals who have used Marten's Point for our pets for over ten years. The service is exceptional, professional and caring. Even our dog loves to go there! They now have a lady vet who started with them as a receptionist when she was 16. We trust them, you can too.

Excellent service!
By Katie on 5/29/2008
Even though no pets were allowed in the beach house, we were able to bring our dog on vacation thanks to this wonderful kennel. We picked up our dog each morning to be with us for beach play, then returned her in the evening. This is a perfect solution for those who like to travel with their dogs. Clean facility, friendly and knowledgable staff.

Happy Dogs
By Holly and Ivy on 5/14/2008
We used this kennel last summer for a week while staying in Duck. We were able to come by and take the dogs out for a walk on the beach or for the day when we wanted. The dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. Will definitely use again.
