Cosmo's Pizzeria offers 2 locations in the northern Outer Banks to serve you. The pizza is hand-tossed New York Style and Cosmo's offers 25 specialty pizzas for you, as well as a number of toppings that will allow you to ''build your own'' pie. Also available at Cosmo's are fresh subs, salads, soft drinks and cold beer.

When we moved here, I had a few different pies.
The prices were exorbitant and the quality was low. Then I found Cosmos. It is definitely the best on the beach. And the price is right. | |

Like another reviewer said, it's nothing fancy, just everything is really, really excellent. It is perhaps the best NY-style pizza I've ever had, and the cheese they use (maybe it's whole milk? maybe a special blend? I don't know) is absolutely magnificent. Yes...I called the cheese on a pizza magnificent. That's how good this pizza is. My family's relationship with Cosmo's started by me getting a pizza when the rest of them had shrimp night. Everyone was so jealous, eventually over a couple of years shrimp night became Cosmos night. Also, we usually get Cosmo's for lunch after a morning at the sound side beach. Twice in one week still isn't enough Cosmo's to hold you over to the next year, though. I wish they would open a restaurant in Cincinnati! | |
