''We just got back from a couple of nights in the OBX. Normally we stay in a vacation rental, but this time tried FCI - excellent choice on our part! The bedroom and bathroom were very clean (the better half cannot stand a dirty bathroom and even she commented on how clean things were). Everything is well appointed and very cozy.

We go to Nags Head quite a bit -- in the future, I think we'll extend our stay and spend a couple of nights in First Colony Inn before checking into our vacation renta...''

The cake was delivered to the restaurant exactly when he promised and it was lovely. These cakes are not your run-of-the-mill chain grocery store cakes. My mother-in-law is from NY and is accustomed to fine Italian bakeries and she, along with everyone else, thought it was delicious....''

Call me tight-fisted, but I'd never pay that much for lodging. With that said, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and nice; however, the cleaning staff didn't pay attention to the ''Do Not Disturb'' sign on the door and kept asking if we wanted towels. Good ocean access....''
