Camp Hatteras, located on Hatteras Island, offers oceanfront and soundfront RV and tent sites. You can take your pick from the 400 available sites at Camp Hatteras, each of which have cable TV and Wi-Fi. You will enjoy the many amenities available at Camp Hatteras, including the clubhouse, indoor & outdoor pools, kiddie pool, hot tub, store, gameroom, laundry, playground, miniature golf, tennis, fishing and jet skis. Camp Hatteras is open year round and pets are allowed.

Over Priced Campground

We just got back from 9 days of camping. Weather was great!! Site size is VERY small. We had a pull through lot (312) and could not park our truck on the same site. Our Electrical box shorted 3 times losing power to the camper. They sent a worker to fix it but it still shorted out. Cable was very fuzzy they changed the connector and that seemed to help. Indoor pool is a very nice option. The hot tub burned my leg. For the price ($80 a night) there are a lot of other campgrounds in the area for half the price. We found the most annoying problem was all the goose and duck droppings all over campsites and common areas. No one cleaned up after the animals -- very unhealthy.

Great vacation

this is the best looking camp ground in town! When riding by you can just look over at the playground and other fun activities on their campus and wish you were there!

Great Park in a Great Location

If you're visiting the Outer Banks there's no better RV Park than Camp Hatteras. Nice size lots, concrete pads and all the amenities plus you can walk to the beach for great sunrises. I have only one complaint. This park is NOT cheap yet they have the nerve to charge $3.00 per day additional for cable TV. That is so nickel and dime... but overall... a great park.
