Must try Uncle Paul'ys

Have been going to uncle Pauly's for many years. Remember when it was down the road, south, before they moved to their current location. Always a great value and terriffic food. About the best around without spending a ton for dinner.

Outstanding Clam Chowder and Service

On 10/31/2008 three of us (visiting surf fishermen) dropped in for a late dinner. We all ordered seconds on the outstanding clam chowder. The waitress was efficient and very friendly. The owner chatted with us and stayed open past closing time for us. This was a meal to be remembered!

Great service and food

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 20 people. We had a great meal, with good service. We will return next year on our way to Hatteras!

Our family did not enjoy our dinner here. The food took forever to arrive and was mediocre at best. I felt the waiter was a bit too snippy and did not deserve to gratuity he added, but we were a large party so understandable.

11 of us went out to dinner on a Tuesday, and the food was pretty darn good. Most men ordered the seafood platter, which was good, but not too plentiful. When I say plentiful, no body had leftovers for the next day. I had the crabcake sandwich, and it tasted a bit frozen. French fries were great!

The food was overpriced and unexceptional but the waitress was friendly. There seemed to be a problem with enough clean dishes and we were there early.
