This 850-foot fishing pier, locally called the Rodanthe Pier, offers some of the best fishing on Hatteras Island. Daily, weekly and seasonal passes are available, and the pier is open from April through November.

The pier house offers bait, tackle sales and rentals, snacks, drinks, beach supplies, souvenirs, restrooms and a game room.

The fishing was great, I caught a lot of fish. The apparance of the pier was in rough shape. They need to turn around and put some money back into the pier. I was at the Apache pier a month ago and they really do a good job keepning up on the apparence of the pier. The service was top notch.
