The hotel was good,it could have been better with a pool, but hell you have the sound and the beach. The rooms were ok the ac was a little noisy, but all you need to do is sleep it is a perfect place ,the manger was really nice.

On the plus side, the location is convenient; it is right across the street from the harbor. The room we stayed in was roomy and it had a small refrigerator and microwave oven. On the minus side, the air conditioner was noisy and outside the window was a refrigerated trailer for the restaurant across the street. Also, the hot water trended to come and go when in the shower. Overall, not bad for a last minute reservation, but it would not be my first (or second) choice.

We called for reservations, and spent $100 for 2 double beds, for just my husband and our small daughter. When you walk in the rooms, everything is woodgrain, (which could have been nice, but wasn't) and the A/C unit was a window unit that was not turned on. One would think that if it were 90+ degrees outside, and the motel was booked, someone could have turned the A/C on before the guests arrived. Anyways, the beds are hard, the bottoms are made out of 2x4s and they stick out so when you walk by them, you stub your toes. The bathroom felt like a sauna, and looked like one too.... there are no phones in the rooms, which was a bad thing since there is hardly any cell phone signals on the islands. Oh and there is no pool, and parking is minimal because of Jolly Roger's across the street. Overall, it is dirty. We also looked at several other rooms, since there was a bunch of our friends staying there. They were all the same. Even the ''nicer'' rooms were trashy and crowded. There was little walking space in any of the rooms. Oh, we tried to change rooms with a couple who hadn't checked in yet, so we could be joined with friends, the people at the desk said no, and then when we talked to the people in the room that we wanted to trade with, they said they wanted to trade too, but the desk people said that we didn't want to... (We had 2 double beds, they had a queen and a single) The only good thing about the island is Captain Ben's. That place made the whole trip worth the suffering.
