Wonderful Vacation Place

We just got back from a visit to Ocracoke and loved the Sand Dollar. The rates are very affordable and found the staff to be very friendly. The hotel is very clean and family friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A Great Family Vacation Place

I am a single mother and I CAN afford to rent their cottage. It is under $1000 for an entire week during the peak season. We have visited Ocracoke for the past 8 years. This summer will be our third time staying at the Sand Dollar. This motel offers very clean rooms and at an affordable price. The owners/staff are wonderfully nice. They provide a coffee/juice/doughnut breakfast in the lobby each morning. The pool is clean and has plenty of chairs surrounding it. I highly recommend this motel if you want somewhere decent and clean to go to that is also affordable.
