The Pony Island Motel offers 50 units with your choice of rooms, efficiencies, cottages and 2-room and 3-room suites. All rooms have refrigerators, and non-smoking rooms also have microwaves, coffee makers and wet bars. Grills, bike rentals, swimming pool and available docking is on-site for guest use. No pets are allowed. The motel is open year-round and there is a family restaurant located next door.

Great place to stay

Convenient, CLEAN, economic, courteous -- and a sense of Island hospitality. We've stayed here repeatedly and also rented their cottages... the best bargains on the Island. We just keep going back.

Great Place to Stay

Very nice place to stay. The rooms are cleaned very good and the hotel is quiet with low prices. Near Howards Pub, Capt Bens.
We can't wait to go back.

Best Motel on the Island!

We stayed 2 years ago, and my husband and his brother are there now. He said it is still a great place to stay. Clean, Good Service......We plan to go back.

Pony Island Motel, Ocracoke, NC

My son and I have been staying at the Pony Island for a number of years now. Even though we spend our days on the beach, we have always been very satisfied with our accommodations and the friendliness of the staff. For a single mom the PI is affordable and has everything we need. Breakfast is right next door and after a hot day on the beach, having the pool to jump into is wonderful. I can also rinse the salt off the truck and air is close by for the tires.I can't wait to come back in 2006!

The place to lay your head!

We always stay at The Pony Island. It is centered on the island with everything around you. It has lovely rooms and the best food at the restaurant. You won't want to stay anywhere else once you stay here. It's the BEST!
