Located across from Silver Lake Harbor in a historic 3-story inn. Offers eleven comfortable, non-smoking rooms, each with private bath. Amenities include outdoor pool, sauna and steam shower, and conference room with internet ready computer. Wireless internet access onsite. Full buffet breakfast. Complimentary boat dockage with power hookup and fish cleaning station. Airport pickup can be arranged in advance of arrival.

| Net House Suite | | By a Guest Reviewer | | The Castle has a B&B and then they have villas. One of their villas is across the street right on the harbor. It has a phenomenal view of the harbor and a screened porch to enjoy it. It's the only room they have with a King bed and there's a really nice jacuzzi. Be warned that breakfast is not included though - we misunderstood that from the reservationist. We'll be back next fall. | |

There are some rooms with views of the harbor, but there's so much to see on the island - you won't spend much time in your room! They have a buffet breakfast each morning and the innkeepers are entertaining. Ocracoke is a treausure itself, but so is the Castle. | |

There are pictures of the rooms, an availability chart, and a live webcam so you can see the Silver Lake! All the rooms have been decorated tastefully in antiques and you get a 'homey' feel. The innkeepers are accommodating and have lots of stories to share about local characters and history. One of the innkeepers there is the editor of the local paper so she can fill you in on the local happenings. We plan to return year after year. There's a nice pool, sauna, steam showers, boat docks, and complimentary bicycles. When you consider that you're getting all the bonused, the price seems very fair. | |
