| Value: | | Service: | | | | WONDERFUL SHOP | | By Reno on 6/21/2008 | | We found the Village Craftsmen to be a wonderful shop. I bought a bowl there that I treasure. Pottery is expensive, but just starting in pottery myself I know how much the supplies cost and the firing, not to mention the cost of glaze. The building is full of pieces of art, how do you measure that? I'm so happy we stopped. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | | | Has gotten too pricey for me | | By Guest Reviewer on 7/26/2007 | | This used to be the one of the first places we'd go to after arriving in Ocracoke. The walk down Howard Street is not to be missed! However, the past couple of times we've gone, we haven't bought a thing. The prices are too high! As a crafter, I appreciate the time and talent to create a handmade item, but the pottery and other items are overpriced. Still, it's worth a visit. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | | | Where did you get that? | | By Returning in '08 on 6/28/2007 | | We can't go to Ocracoke without going to The Village Craftsmen. Local pottery, hand made jewelry, and CD's for the local musicians. We never leave without finding something we need and when we get home and invariably a friend will ask, ''Where did you get that?'' Not your typical souviner place. See you next year. | |
