Exquisite and delightful visit!

I had not been to Ocracoke for 14 years and revisited on Sept. 4, 2007. It was my sister's birthday, the weather was perfect and we decided to do a bit of shopping. She had never visited the Down Creek Gallery, in thinking the items inside would be too expensive. Upon entering, it was truly a wonderland of exquisite and beautiful craftsmanship from enlightened artisans! Kudos for the local artists who show their work there! Truly a highlight of my time visiting. I was most intrigued by the artist who made the copper wine glass wall sculptures...would like to know where/how to get one!

I have had the pleasure of visiting twice.The prices and talent of the artist and their works is amazing.The best shop on the Outer Banks to buy art.
