1st Annual Ocracoke Island Surf Film Festival

Where: Deepwater Theater (Ocracoke Island)

This Global Surf Network (GSN) event is ''put on by for the Community, by the Community.'' This fun Ocracoke Island festival is being held to help benefit the Ocracoke Youth Center.

The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the ''1st Surf Film'' showing. At 5:00 p.m., the band ''More Better Music'' will perform, followed by the ''2nd Surf Film'' showing at 6:00 p.m. The band ''Mr. K & The Famous'' will perform at 7:00 p.m., the ''3rd Surf Film'' will be shown at 8:00 p.m. and finally, at 9:00 p.m., the band ''The Influence'' will finish this exciting event.


For the past few years The Influence has been busy immersing itself into what has become a vibrant East Coast rock scene. Thriving on their hybrid fusion of acoustic and electric sounds, luscious counter-melodies and seldom heard five part harmonies, The Influence has been quickly establishing their presence amongst the elite rockers of today.
