The rooms are very nice and clean. When we'd go somewhere, even for a sort time, the room was cleaned and freshly made bed and towels in the bathroom. I tell you when you spend alot of time on the beach fresh towels are a must, we never had to call for extra towels once. another thing is that we got an efficiency and we had our own kitchen, let me tell you it was great to be able to cook our own meals. Plus we didn't have to bring a thing, all the cook ware was provided for us. The affordability is incredible, we managed a week long vacation (food, gas, room rate, and a few extras!) on less than a thousand dollars. I think we paid 450.00 for 7 days ( and that was the expensive room with a kitchen!). YOU''LL LOVE IT! WE CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING BREAK

I have enjoyed the Sea Foam for the past 13 years. The same group of families from around the country stay at the Sea Foam with us every year. I think this is a testament to the sea foam and it's staff. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the beach is right there. I like the old time feel, with the knotting pine walls etc. Just an example of the friendly staff, we were just there last week and the manager brought over crabs he just caught and provided us with a steamer pot and propane to cook. That is the type of family atmosphere you will experience at the Sea Foam

Now our grown children come to the Outer Banks and they still love to stay at the Seafoam....
Its truely ''Old Nagshead style'' with up to date service and features. We love it and think you will too!! :)

This hotel reminds me of the good old days of Nags Head. Very friendly....The manager, has been very friendly and makes sure we have what we need. Unfortunely the hurricains have played a big part on all the beaches, this hotel continues to place sand so that you can still have fun on the beach. Try it, you will love it unless you need to say at the Hilton!!!

Moldy shower stall, ants & roaches running everywhere! Beach access is rocky, exhausting and has extremely limited space without being in the ocean. I'll pitch a tent next time!!!!

I just spent a week in heaven...well it was really Nags Head, but it felt like heaven. This was my first stay at SeaFoam and I will definitely return. Everything was excellent. The service, the attention, accomadations, price, etc. Whenever I had a question, comment or concern it was addressed immediatley. Thank you.

My mom saw it on her first visit to Nags Head earlier this year and we decided to have a girls weekend and stay at the Seafoam. It's in the perfect location for sun, shopping and dining! The ''old time'' feel is amazing with the pine knotted panels, screen doors and ceiling fans! You won't regret the stay at all!! Last stay here: April 2006

The rooms were nice but the office manager was a real jerk. We spent 8 hours on the road that Saturday and just barely beat a very bad thunder/hailstorm that was on our tail. Got to the hotel got unpacked and settled in or so we thought. We watched the storm unravel with intensity and began to get concerned for our bikes. Since we had 4 rooms in row we did not think it would create a problem pulling our bikes onto the sidewalk until the storm passed. Office manager came by about an hour after we had them parked and could not get to his laundryroom and got PO'd because he stepped into a puddle and got his feet wet. He told us to move the bikes and we were complying with his 'demand'. A couple of the guys were in their room putting their rain suits on and manager had to walk around the bikes again and made snide remarks which led to verbal exchange and he got even more mad and told us to get out with no refund. This was 8pm in the middle of severe storm and we were being evicted under police supervision. Cops did not even offer to come out and hear our side. If you have ever riden a motorcycle you can imagine the peril we were placed in having to get back on the road in such weather. So much for the ''Welcome Bikers'' posted on their sign outside.

| My Second Home!!! | | By a Guest Reviewer | | I have been vacationing in Nags Head for 22 years and the Sea Foam is a great place to stay!!! This is a place were you will feel comfortable and like your at home. Everyone (Staff) is so kind and sweet. I will always hold a place in my heart for the Sea Foam and it's staff. | |

| Home away from home! | | By a Guest Reviewer | | My family...all 15 of us, have been vacationing on the Outer Banks for 30+ years. Unfortunately, hurricanes have taken their toll on the old fashioned, quaint hotels, but thankfully, my Mother found the Sea Foam. After the Pebble Beach motel was demolished, their management and staff moved to the Sea Foam, which we have been staying at now for 6 years. It is clean, family oriented and charming;the staff consists of kind and helpful people. I love the location because it's not as nearly as congested as Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk, but conveniently situated to food, fishing piers and shopping. We love it and will be there again in 1 week! | |
