Cloud Nine was just the store in Nags Head. I've been going there many years when we visit OBX. It has recently expanded to include many more wonderful beads, designs from local artisans, classes, and a place to work on your design, a beading home away from home. Ginny is very knowledgeable in all aspects of beading and jewelry and has wonderful ideas on designing a one of a kind treasure from the Outer Banks.
I found beads and findings that I can't find at home. Thank you for the great service!

After a storm, I found a beautiful piece of purple sea glass. I wanted to do something special with it so I could wear it as a pendant. I saw the ad for Cloud Nine in one of the local papers, but was unable to get to the store before we left to head back home to New Hampshire.
We returned this past September and one of my first stops was to Cloud Nine with my puple sea glass. Ginny and her staff were so nice and so helpful. Ginny did a beautiful job wrapping my glass. Now I am able to wear it for others to see and enjoy. I have had so many compliments on the beautiful work Ginny did with this piece. I was fortunate enough to find another rare treasure, Cloud Nine in Nags Head!! Thank you again Ginny, I will treasure it always!

Little did we know that a nor'easter would bring us to a store that would have us sharing our soon to be family with Ginny. I ended up walking out with numerous African trade beads as well as enough hemp, leather and inspiration to last me until my return the following year. I should mention that I went back 2 or 3 more times that week. The following year Cloud Nine was my first stop. Ginny remembered our names!!
The store has expanded to be large enough to offer beading, sea glass wiring and other classes while retaining its inviting small shop charm. The attentive and artistic staff compliments the vast eclectic mix of items offered. From fun beads for kids to numerous one of a kind items by local artisans, treasures abound at Cloud Nine!!

The owner Ginny who teaches the class is sooo nice and helpful. Hard to find items and decent prices. The store has been there for over 21 years and the employees are extremly helpful and friendly. Definitly a place worth checking out!

I had a one on one with Ginny(who was awesome as well). She was very friendly, very informative and very helpful. Creativity oozed from the store. I walked out with one of the best souvenirs I have every gotten on vacation. I made a beautiful piece of jewelry with sea glass I found on the beach. Too cool. I can't wait to go back.

There was a a great selection of beads and the service was wonderful. They had beads that I couldn't find elsewhere and the prices were reasonable. They had a little trouble the day that I visited the store..the credit card machine wasn't working and the owner was covered in blue paint that accidently spilled on her! This never stopped them they handled things without any interuptions.
