Price on 7/23/2007 | | We took our dog who had fallen in the pool to the office of Dr. Welch who was closed, (a Sunday afternoon) He just happened to be there checking on another animal and heard us frantically beating on the door. He was about to leave to attend a very important family dinner, but instead, put his personal plans aside and saved our little puppy's life. Brownie, our cocker, had to be hospitalized for a few days as it was ''touch and go for a while''. Dr. welch's open door visitation policy made this difficult time much less stressful on our family, and the frequent visits to Brownie seemed to encourage his recovery. We are from Maryland, but as a Navy family, have lived almost everywhere! I can attest that I have never witnessed before a Veterinarian with such a caring spirit and true devotion to his profession!!! God Bless Dr. Barry Welch!

We were just visiting the beach for the long weekend and didn't have a local vet. Because it was a major Holiday I was very afraid we wouldn't find someone to treat her. We found the ad for the Animal Hospital of Nags Head and called the Emergency Line. Dr. Kelcourse answered his page right away and agreed to meet us at the office within 30 minutes. He accurately diagnosed her and treated her and she is doing so much better. I do believe if we had to wait until Friday to get her treated, she could have lost her foot. I would recommend them whole heartedly!
