This Outback has the worse management i've ever encountered, and while you should be able to expect atleast consistencey from a chain, don't presume anything. At one point, I waited an hour an a half for a steak when there were hardly any tables; when it came out it was far overcooked. I wrote a long article to the owner who in turn was sent me some form letter asking what happened. Like i really wanted to type the whole thing again. He obviously didn't care at all. The guys name is Joel Bateman - joeyjbobx@yahoo.com.
I've gone there twice this year and both times were bad. Never AGAIN!!!
My other experience took place in late July when my girl and I waited outside for an hour to be called when they said it was only a half hour wait. Kept going in and asking the hostess what was going on, as others who came later in bigger groups were sat ahead of us. Bullsh**!! Seriously think of somewhere else... don't make the same mistake I did.

After the fantastic teaser, we had a main course of Queensland Chicken ?N Shrimp? (Seasoned and grilled, over fettuccine Alfredo, topped with a light lemon sauce); which was a bit spicy for me but I don?t have a stomach for spicy foods so for the average American I would assume that it is a mild spice and nothing to worry over, it did need a little parmesan cheese?but for the most part it was excellent. However, we did have to wait for a table for a little while which is to be expected in a restaurant such as this one and the hostess did forget to bring us napkins and tableware, like forks. The waitress, however, continued to make sure that our drinks were always filled to the top, and considering Tyler drinks like a camel, that is saying quite a bit. Also, usually they bring us some wonderful bread to munch on while waiting and somehow it was misplaced?because we didn?t eat it. My daughter got the chicken fingers from the Joey menu and it was a huge platter?way too much for my little 3 yr old, but it was good. All of the platters had quite a bit of food so you definitely get your money?s worth. Since, we took like two bites of our main course and were full after that appetizer, we packed it up and had it for leftovers the next day. The food was great so it got a 5 star but the service needed a bit improvement so it got a 3 so overall I will give the restaurant at the Nags Head, NC location a 4.
