Mulligan's is a must everytime we go to OBX (1-2 times per month).
Food is great. The burgers, pizzas, and seafood are the best on the beach. I had the buffalo shirmp the last time I was in and it was fantastic.
Friendly service from the owner down to the busboys

I have been going to OBX for 20 years now and my latest trip in September was no let down. I agree with previous post, that when Mulligans was on Beach Road, it had more of a ''dive'' feel and it mademe feel more ''at home'' but the food is just as good now as it was umpteen years ago. Beer is cold and the waitresses are just as hot as I remember.
Great place to eat after a long day of fishing offshore.

We had gone to Mulligan's while we were in The OBX in June of '08, we got oysters on the half shell.. Let me tell you, we both LOVED them. They were just right and never had them so Fresh. We will be back for sure when we return to The OBX next year..

I ate at Mulligan's last week with a friend. My friend ordered a soft-crab sandwich, the day's special. She was not able to eat it because it was not what she had expected when reading the menu. After the owner, Gus Zinovis, refused to take the meal off of the bill, he went on to tell us, in a loud and angry tone, that he didn't want us to return and that he wasn't in the business of ''handing out free food.''
Apparently he is not in the business of customer service, either.

What a cool place

We went in to Mulligans to get the best burger on the beach, but everyone in our group got something different. It was by far the best Hot Italian sub I have ever had. My wife had the fish tacos and loved them.
We will definitely be back. By the way, it is the coldest beer on the beach

Crab leg night

I recently went to Mulligan's for the all-you-can-eat crab legs and they were amazing. They came out hot and fresh and were delicious. I would definitely return!

Mulligan's moved and is still great

Best burger and coldest beer on the Outer Banks in a new location--The old site of Bad Barracuda's across from Jockey's Ridge. Stop in and try it, you'll love it! Great food, cold beer, good people, great views!

I liked the old place...

...and I can't speak for the new one. Part of a dying breed, Mulligan's on the beach was great. Beer was cold, burgers were great along with a darn good fish sandwhich. I LOVED this place's fish sandwhich. I haven't gone to the new location, but will update my review when I do. Barmaids were always friendly and well-versed in local politics! Used to be a good dive bar, but now looks more yuppy at the new location. Not that that's a bad thing for most folks. The new building is brighter and in better shape, but I miss the old musty days by the beach. :)
