The Elizabethan Inn offers 80 rooms and efficiencies. Refrigerators are available in the rooms, and some non-smoking and whirlpool rooms are offered (based upon availability.) Guests have access to the on-site health club, whirlpool, sauna, racquetball, indoor and outdoor pools and massage therapy. The Virginia Dare Restaurant is also on-site.

ELIZABETHAN INN

THIS IS A CHARMING HOTEL WITH AN EXCELLENT RESTAURANT. IT IS A LITTLE DATED IN ROOM APPEARANCE BUT AN EXCELLENT VALUE. ANY SEASONAL PACKAGE INCLUDING DINNER/BREAKFAST ADDS TO THE VALUE.

Disappointed in hotel

The Elizabethan Inn is definately showing its age. The rooms were comfortable, but in need of updating and repair. For example, paint on the wall of our room was peeling and the towels in the bathroom were worn and frayed. The ads for the Inn list it as ''charming'' and ''quaint'' when it is neither. One ad also said they had bikes for guests. When I asked the desk clerk about this, I got a ''deer in the headlights'' look. For the money, it was fine. But I would not stay there again and wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I chose this hotel based on its history and reputation - but it really disappointed.

Very Family Friendly

The Elizabethan In is great for families, liked the indoor pool and work out area. The hotel provided lots of info. on what to do and dine in the area. Very spacious room, with the vanity seperate from the bathroom.

Dont bother

Manteo is a great town. It is a shame that this place tarnishes an adorable town. No restraunt attached, as advertised. WE had no hot water, no one cleaned our room even after speaking with the manager, no fresh towels brought. I stayed with my 12 and 13 year old daughters for a nice get away. Dont stay here, its terrible.
