The outdoor fireplace on the back porch and the beautiful rooms in the arts and crafts style were great. And in addition to a very nice innkeeper, we were made to feel at home by their wonderful ''porch cats''.
Best of all though was the location in Manteo. Out of the rat race and within walking distance of the wonderful shops and restaurants in the historic district.

From the serene peaceful ambience of the entire Inn to the little touches, such as the homebaked cookies and the ready made fire on the outside porch, we felt right at home. The innkeeper was so accommodating and thoughtful. We can't wait to return with our friends and family! We would definately reccommend this place! | |
