The Christmas Shop in Manteo was long a favorite shopping destination for visitors and year round residents. The original shop closed in 2005 but is reopening as a galleria of small shops, boutiques and galleries. The 30,000 square foot building is located on the right as you enter Manteo.

This has got to be to closest I have ever come to stepping into a sceene from ''A CHRISTMAS STORY'', its breathtaking.
