''Staying at the Cameron House Inn was the best experience we had on the Outer Banks. The outdoor fireplace on the back porch and the beautiful rooms in the arts and crafts style were great. And in addition to a very nice innkeeper, we were made to feel at home by their wonderful ''porch cats''.

Best of all though was the location in Manteo. Out of the rat race and within walking distance of the wonderful shops and restaurants in the historic district.

''This particular location (Manteo) also serves Breyers Ice Cream and during my last visit that is what we ordered. Breyer's Ice Cream is one of the better brands and was very well stocked. The service was great. My soon-to-be hubbie lives around the corner so we go here often since this is one of the better places to eat fast in this small town so we know most of the employees. ''The F.I.N.S.S.S. have fished with the DOGHOUSE in the Alice Kelly Ladies Billfishing Tournament for the past 2 years. The 1st year we did not do very well; however, '07 was a different story. We released 1 blue marlin estimated at 400 lbs. and 1 white marlin 70 lbs. It's the luck of the draw!! This year we will definitely be fishing with the DOGHOUSE once again and LOOKOUT 'cause we're going for NUMERO-UNO!!
