Manteo Independence Day CelebrationWhen: Friday, July 04, 2008 - Friday, July 04, 2008 Where: Throughout Roanoke Island Activities run from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and include a Wacky Tacky Hat Contest, children's games, food and other concessions, musical entertainment, and a street dance from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., when a fireworks display begins.
