Youth Learn to Sail ProgramWhen: Tuesday, July 01, 2008 - Thursday, July 31, 2008 Where: NC Maritime Museum on Roanoke Island This youth program is held from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., with morning and afternoon sessions available. Open to youth 8 and older. Basic and intermediate instruction. Students sail Optimist and 420 sailboats. For more information and application, call the museum or contact them via e-mail at obxmaritime@earthlink.net. Instructors are US Sailing instructors. Open sail continues - Tuesday afternoons from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Weather permitting. Shallowbag Bay Sail About Continues- Sail Shallowbag Bay in a traditional style work vessel - 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Will continue every Tuesday evening during the month, weather permitting.
