The beds were confortable if a bit squeeky. I liked the fact they provided wireless internet, microwave, and a large in-room refrigerator. The beach was across the street and conveniently located,. Overall, it was a good value for the location. | |

We aren't, so we were okay. The hotel rooms are teeny tiny but again, we spent very little time in the room itself and were always out sightseeing so it didn't bother us. The bathroom was okay but could be better. Staff was friendly and amenities was good. They do provide complimentary breakfast etc etc. This hotel doesn't have any ocean view. If you want ocean views rent cottages in Nags Head or further south. It gets better and better as you go south towards Ocracoke. Cottages on the south side are ''truly'' on the oceanfront. Cottages in nags head etc are facing the beach but they're kinda rundown (at least from outside). | |

We found our stay very enjoyable at the Holiday Inn Express, Kitty Hawk. Our check-in and out went quickly and smoothly. Our room was very comfortable, and locating the sink outside the main bathroom was a great idea and helped in getting ready. The complimentary breakfast in the lobby was really good. As we woke, we could go downstairs and have coffee and whatever without disturbing each other. I would highly recommend this hotel. | |

I long walk would get you to a secluded area on the beach in early spring. Downfall of this hotel is that every room, even the nonsmoking ones, reek of smoke. It was so bad that I had to forego my final nights stay. | |
