This, from a man who blasts the stereo! Once seated in the dining area, however, we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the noise level was.
The menu had a nice variety of choices which pleased my non-adventuresome family, and my love of trying new flavors.
The bread they served was delicious, and the garlic-infused oil served with it was heaven!
I had the St. Lucia chicken, which had a wonderful flavor, and the fluffiest sticky rice I've ever had. (I know, how can it be both fluffy & sticky - but it was!)
My husband & kids really enjoyed the pizzas they chose.
My mai tai was every bit as good as the best I had in Hawaii. My husband didn't have the same luck - the beer he ordered was out of stock, so he had to settle for 2nd or 3rd choice. That seemed to be a trend around the island this year - maybe it has to do with being late in the season (August).
The best part of the whole experience was the waitress. She was extremely efficient and adorably nice, with a quick smile.
We would definitely recommend Barefoot Bernie's to anyone. | |

Loved to see Steelers Sunday advertised on the sign infront of the building. Anybody that far from Blitzburgh that likes the Steelers gotta be ok! | |
| welcome to Bernie's | | By a Guest Reviewer | | We arrived at Bernie's around 9pm and were told the band wouldn't start until 10pm. At 10:30 Trainwreck started playing, a pretty good cover band. My friends were the ones to start up the dance floor and we had a blast. I think the drinks were overpriced but tasty. Don't come here if you're expecting a large crowd or dance scene, it's more of a sit at the table and drink/eat kind of place. Great people work there too, friendly and fast. | |
