Good Eats on the Cheap

You are lucky to find good food at a cheap price at OBX. Spanky's just happens to be one of those places.

Spanky's hotdogs are really good and reasonably priced. I haven't eaten every item on his menu, so I can't comment beyond the hotdogs.

Spanky's is clean and inviting. My daughter loved the ''Monkey Motif'' on the interior. The owner is very nice and greets his customer's as they walk in.

My next trip to OBX will include this restaurant.

Great burgers. Have liked everything I've tried there. I have never been to a restaurant where the staff is more excited about burgers and getting you good food fast.

Absolutely fantastic! I have lived at the beach for a long time and have run a couple of Restaurants. This place is a great value and a great taste. The owners are a real nice couple and the food is always good. Say hello to the kids while you are there and tell them that Mike from Island Nautical sent you!

This was the best place we've been on the Outer Banks. Food is great, everyone is super nice, and it is super affordable. We are definetly going back on our next trip--don't miss this place!!!

It is great to finally find a place to tell everyone that we survived Hurricane Charley inside Spanky's! Great food, company and we beat the hurricane! Spanky's ROCKS!

Awesome Cheese Steak

I went for a burger and fell in love with a cheese steak. The best I have ever had. Thank you Mr. Spanky.

My wife loved the crabcakes. Better than fine dining crabcakes, amazing.

This is probably the best restaurant that we visited while at the beach. The food is great and cooked to order very quickly. Everyone is super nice and definetly a great value.

This is not a full-service restaurant where you are waited on, but definitely great for a quick bite. Super friendly service and your wallet will love you! As cheap as getting fast food from one of the known joints in fast food alley. Hot dogs are even better than Captain Franks and more deserving of your business.
