| It's Tradition,......................................... | | By Saunders Family/OBX on 6/6/2008 | My family, and that means some 20+ of us have been going to John's for many, many years. It stacks up well against any restaurant on the Outer Banks. The family that owns, and runs it you'll come to know are wonderful folks, and mean alot to us. We thank them for all their years of service, and for the tremendous memories of sharing ice cream, and milkshakes with us as we raised all of our children of which are all grown up. The polaroids in the windows of the restaurant of the many families that have experienced what we we're able to are evidence, and testimony to just how special this place is to us, and many others. Please make sure you put your trash in the can, and remember to protect our beaches. The Saunders Family | |

Any combo of shake you can imagine. Be prepared to wait in line because they are always crowded. Right on the beach road in Kitty Hawk. Locals love it. | |
