It reminds you of eating at a bingo hall. For those in our group who love seafood- it's wonderful. For those who don't, you pay alot for not much non-seafood selection. The place needs to be enlarged and cleaned. There is always food all over the floor and appears unsanitary. You are rushed when there. The food always pleases the seafood lovers, though! Lot of crablegs for the price!

Our family was down to the OBX and we are a large group. We all have different taste so when we saw the ad for Jimmy's Buffet we decided to go there. There was definately something for EVERYONE

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | Disappointed. | | By A July Visitor on 9/27/2008 | | We were disappointed this past year. The price has gone up; it's a little steep for someone who is dining with the family but doesn't eat seafood. What I really didn't like was that we felt we were herded out so that another table could be seated. My daughter didn't get to finish her drink before it was removed from in front of her; I was still seated at the table while it was being cleaned for the next customers. They were seating themselves while I was getting up. After dining there for a number of years, I feel that there are other places on the Outer Banks where we can get a better value, with a better menu selection, without feeling like we are herded through like cattle to a feeding trough. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | By Tammy from NF on 9/26/2008 | | We went in August and it was not what we expected. We were VERY dissappointed with the non-seafood items on the buffet. There was nothing for them to eat, especially for the price. The seafood even at opening time was not very fresh. The waitress offered two items from the kitchen, but never offered after the first came (nor told us what was available). Drink refills were lacking as well. If all you want is crab legs then this is the place for you. If you want variety and tasty seafood, this isn't going to be your best dining experience at OBX. | |

| Value: | | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | | | Great seafood buffet | | By Woodslass on 9/21/2008 | | I'm also shocked at the reviews. The entire restaurant has had a nice upgrade since we were there in April 07. Margaritas are very very good, service in long tall tubes. Great variety, all kinds of seafood cooked different ways. Place was packed, but we got a table within 5 minutes. Waiter was very busy, so he forgot to bring us silverware at first, but he was friendly and came by often. King crab was always fresh and hot, sides were good, and the fried shrimp was very tasty. Price is also good, not often you can eat your fill of King Crab for $30! | |

Ate there last yr for the first time. Went for early bird for free lobster tail. Place became busy but the food was great, service was good with the waitress always filling our drinks & removing our shells. where else can you go & eat $30 of all the seafood, etc you want?

Plan to do it again next year. Quality and quantity were good.

Buffet food looked like it had been frozen and thawed in microwave. Horrible food. No one asked how our meal was probably because they didn't want to hear how bad it really was. VERY OVERPRICED (29.99/adult) for lousy food. We will NEVER go back to eat there!!!

Once inside I knew it was a bust. The food was horrible and the service was not much better. Could not believe that people were still waiting in line. Stay away from this place and spend your money elsewhere.

Yuck! | | By Pam on 1/25/2008 | | This place is the most discusting restaurant I have ever been in. It was unclean and the buffet tables were so old and nasty. The wait for the restroom was about 20 minutes and you dont even want to hear about them!!

Waiter did not care about concerns. Fried food over cooked, but crablegs great, if you can get them warm.

They cleaned the air vent at a nearby table where people were sitting. Seafood was overcooked. Waitress had attitude and it did stink.

The floor was filthy with food that hadn't been cleaned up. We had to stand and wait while our table was cleaned off (sort of). The food was a few levels below a bus station cafeteria in appearance and taste. Don't waste your money.

It wasn;t that fresh seafood smell. It was way overpriced for the quality of the food.
