Max's Real Bagels & Deli offers breakfast and lunch and is open 7 days a week. You can take your food to go or eat in the restaurant, and choose between a variety of sandwiches, homemade cream cheese spreads, salads by the pound and gourmet coffees. Their smoked salmon is imported from Norway (cold smoked with brown sugar and salt) and they claim their Smoked Whitefish Salad is the best on the East Coast! Cream cheese is prepared daily and is pre softened with fresh veggies, scallions, jalepenos, honey, raisins, or Smoked Salmon. Soup is served Monday through Friday from October 1st until May 1st. Bagels, wheat rolls, baguettes, white, wheat, and rye bread is available.

Max's Bagels are the best. They are so good I buy extra to carry all the way back to Roanoke VA. I love that even in the off season they still make all kinds of bagels. There are other places the only make 3 or 4 kinds in the off season. Thank you for the outstanding food!

every year i go to the outer banks. for the last 4 years ive gone to max s they have the best bagels in the world i wish the employees of max s the best

Found the raisin bagel with honey and raisin cream cheese to be simply delicious. The help were outgoing and smiling and the shop was whistle clean. Great bagels, great people. OOH HA!!!!

BEST BAGELS

Being a jewish expatriate from the UK (and living in Kitty Hawk) the lox and bagels are better than any I remember from the UK or any where in the US or anywhere else in the World including Israel. Most of my time is spent working in the Bahamas and the first thing I do on arrival home is ask my wife to take me to Maxs. If anyone knows of a better place let me know because in my humble opinion this place will yake some beating.

The bagels are the best to be found in the banks. The sandwiches are large and always fresh made. Service is always fast and efficient.
