Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Why spend more?
By Michelle on 9/13/2007
I took my son and mother down for a long weekend over Memorial Day this year. We stayed ocean front for less than we could have stayed a block away at many other locations. We could leave the front door or curtains of our three bedroom suite open and see the waves rolling in. There are fancier rooms, but why pay more when the rooms are clean, well furnished and right on the beach? The staff was friendly and we had no complaints. Will stay again.

simple wonderful!!!

My family visits the outerbanks throughout the year (including the cooler months) and my husband would not stay anywhere else. It has all the conveniences of home. A small kitchen with all the appliances and cookware, optional 2nd room for the children and an awesome ocean view. The staff is wonderful as well. Thanks for a nice visit each time.

Ok room with a wondrful view
By a Guest Reviewer
This older lodge is ok for a nights stay. Their were no outlets in our room close to any mirror for drying your hair in the mornings. The cleaning staff was opening our door before check out time to see if we were out of our room yet, I would not of cared if I heard a knock first. The nice part of our room was the view of the beach.

We are going back for a second year
By a Guest Reviewer
My husband and I visited this propery last year. At first we was surprised by the room , but after being there for just a short time we loved it. We are going back this year and can't wait to get there. In fact we are taking our daughters and some friends of ours are coming up from Georgia. To get the outer banks experience, it's real nice. We went over the Fourth of July and the fire works was spectactular. The staff was friendly and curtous, as well. The fishing wasn't too bad eather.
