great week

This was the third time we have stayed in this motel in the past fifteen years. Many great updates. Very clean in all aspects. Both pool areas and gym very clean and neat. staff very friendly and curtious. Our room was on the forth floor with a fantastic view of the ocean. Large windows and a walk out balcony with chairs. There are places that might be a little cheaper, but you get what you pay for. My wife and I love this place!

Very Pleasant Weekend

My first trip to the outer banks was for the OBX half marathon. I chose Colony IV for the excellent price (I think it was $80 a night for an oceanfront room). The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was on time and plentiful. The indoor pool was a very nice way to relax after the race. I highly recommend it, and plan on coming back this coming year for the race again.
