Review Guidelines
Basic Review Guidelines:

Your review should focus on specific aspects of the business you are reviewing. Do not simply state you liked or disliked the business - be specific.

The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked a business' products or service, but also why.

DO NOT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!

Do not mention competing company names in your reviews. Focus on the company you are reviewing, and if you wish, leave a review about the other companies on their directory listings.

Do not comment on other reviews - respect their position and write your own, but do not argue with others.

Do not use profanity or post spiteful remarks.

Do not write a review that is less than 50 words in length. The goal of a review is to share your experiences with a particular company - very short reviews do not accomplish this.

Do not post phone numbers, email addresses or URLs.

Do not post inflammatory reviews - stop and put yourself in the shoes of the owner of the business you are posting about.

Do not post many reviews about one business. Doing this will cause all of your reviews to be deleted.

Remember, you are responsible for your words.

Great experience

Wondeful Cosmos, beautiful setting and the food was fantastic. The pasta bar was fun...you picked what you wanted in your pasta and the chef prepared it right in front of you.
Had the most amazing appetizer; crab and wild mushroom cheesecake, a big hit with everyone at the table.

The Ocean Trellis Restaurant was wonderful. They had a pasta bar where you could pick from a variety of shellfish, meats and veggies that are prepared in front of you with your choice of a red sauce or white sauce. It was amazing! The pork tenderloin with cherries is a specialty that is a gastronomic success. Tender slices of pork in a fruited sauce....yummy! Don't miss the key lime cake or this restaurant on your trip to the Outer Banks. Wine list could use some help but with a full bar, the Cosmos were icy and perfect.

Good Place to Stay
By a Guest Reviewer
My husband and I stayed at the Sea Ranch in May 2004. It had been damaged by Hurricane Isabel in the fall of 2003. Apparently, they took the opportunity to remodel the upper floors while making repairs to the lower ones. Our room looked newly remodeled. When we first went in, I could get a faint smell of paint. Everything in the room looked great.

We had registered for two nights but decided to stay three. We had to change rooms for the third night and the employees were extremely helpful in carrying our luggage to the new room. I was pregnant at the time so that was very much appreciated.

The enclosed baloconies were nice. The beach is pretty narrow there though which is the only thing I was disappointed with. The pool looked nice but I didn't go in.
