''Upon arriving to the comfort inn south located at nags head we found that it was a mistake to stay here. There was water leakage as you walked into the building. The floors were nasty. As we got on the elevator and came to the floor of our room, there was a horrible odor and everything basically looked skank. Our room was extremely NASTY!!!! I would not recommend anyone taking the chance and staying at this location....''

''We stayed there during the off-season in late spring and paid $109 for an oceanfront room. Peak-season rates for the same room are twice that. Call me tight-fisted, but I'd never pay that much for lodging. With that said, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and nice; however, the cleaning staff didn't pay attention to the ''Do Not Disturb'' sign on the door and kept asking if we wanted towels. Good ocean access....''

''Nice large rooms. Stayed 2 nights but in different rooms. 1st room was nice and clean, not worn. 2nd room, two rooms over, was dirty and very worn. Guess it depends on which room you get. Kind of pricey, but not outrageous. Better with AAA discount....''
