an event planning company that primarily services destination weddings on the Outer Banks. Our brides live in DC, NY, Ohio, Texas, CA, PA, and many other states. The Outer Banks has been listed as one of the top 10 destination locations in the US, with over 3,000 weddings a year being held on our shores. We provide the opportunity for thousands of wedding guests to visit the Outer Banks and North Carolina for the first time ever, while attending a wedding.

We provide event planning services, specializing in wedding planning services for events held on the Outer Banks of NC. Typically we plan over 35 weddings a year - this is our full time job, not a hobby.

A proud member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and the Outer Banks Wedding Guild, the owner of The Proper Setting has been an Outer Banks resident for more than 18 years.
