''My wife and I have been visiting the Outer Banks for years. We have to say that Mako Mike's is, by far, one of our favorite restaurants for a multitude of reasons. The staff has always been friendly, the menu has plenty of cuisine options, and the prices are inline with the other venues in the area. I tend to lean towards the surf and turf specials, while my wife almost exclusively orders the crab legs. The kitchen is quite accommodating of special requests (they have a FANTASTIC bearnaise sauce...''

''We visited Miller's Waterfront because we thought we would get fresh seafood.. ocean... seafood... Makes sense, right? There was no lobster selection on the menu, I have had better seafood from upstate NY. The service was ok, nothing special, the waiter was not overly friendly. Ambience was nothing special either, except after dinner you can step out on the pier. I would not recommend this restaurant or ever visit again. It was a big dissapointment....''
