Best Pizza on the Beach

Slice pizzaria is a little spot in a small strip mall near MP 8.5. Don't be fooled...this IS the best pizza on the beach. The pizza is by the slice, of course, or by the pie. Calzones and other dishes are available too. In fact I am stoppin' on my way home to get two pizzas for dinner!!!

I've been hoping for a real NY style pizzeria to open as I am a New Yorker. You have the freedom of ordering separate slices to try. They have so many different pies available on the spot to choose from. The white pizza is the best with gobs of ricotta. Very convenient. Friendly

Slice has only been open a few months, but I hear everyone talking about it, so I had to try. The pizza is hands down the best on the beach! The white pizza with spinach has become a weekly obsession of mine and my husband likes to get the cheese steaks. Great atmosphere, nicer than your typical pizza joint. We were also surprised at how delicious the crab cakes were! Jumbo lump and so good. Can't wait to try some pasta dishes next, they look good too. Welcome to the OBX, we hope your stay is a long one!

Truly great pizza!

My husband and I stopped in on a whim for a slice of pizza before going out for the evening. The pizza was fabulous! Great crust, quality ingredients, it beats any chain pizza by a mile. I had a slice of cheese, spinach and ricotta that was really delicious - my husband had the meatball and pepperoni, which was so good he got another one! We liked it so much we ordered a calzone to go the next night. I had a cheese, chicken, tomato and ricotta calzone that was really delicious and not on the menu, and they were happy to accomodate me. We will definitely be back - I wish we had Slice in Denver!
