Best pizza..... ever??

We're regulars to OBX and always stop at Dare Devil during our stay. Tried something different this time - the Garden Pesto pizza. Seriously, might be the best pizza I've ever had. Actually thought about bringing an unbaked one home (PA) to let one of our local pizza shops try it, hoping they'd make it their own.

Actually we have been coming here for 15 straight years because over half of our party love it. I find it just so so. Worth a try.

We started with wings. My husband and I tried the Greek pizza and finished the small all by ourselves. It was really good! 3 of our children shared a small cheese and sausage pizza and finished it all. Our other child finished off a ham and cheese. It's the only time we can remember not having leftovers to bring home. It was expensive. The check realy surprised us - guess we weren't looking at the prices of the items, but it took what it did to fill us and make us happy. We would go again. Our waitress was right on top of things about half of the time we were there. The worst wait was after she left the check and we waited and waited for her to pick up our card to pay. That sort of put a damper on our experience since when you've got 4 young children that are full and now tired, you just want to get out of there.

One of the best pizzerias in the Outer Banks. This NYer found it to be a very credible pie unlike other places that serve cardboard pizza.
