Adding new reviews is currently disabled while we work on launching a new website. | 0 of 1 people found this review helpful: | | Value: |  | Service: | | Food: | | | Ambiance: | | Wine List: | | | | worst experience ever | | By senator on 11/13/2008 | | on nov 3 2008 my family ate at this place. my wife ordered a philly sandwich for $6.99. when it got to the table she took a bite and set it down. the menu said it had ''special'' sauce. not knowing that meant a watery bbq type sauce...she sent it back. the waitress was very nice about it and took it to the trash can for us. we then re-ordered the prime rib which was nasty. but she ate it. when the waitres brought our check she said the owner was not going to take the philly off the bill.. so i went to the counter and told him this was unacceptable. he then agreed to take half off... i said no, because i 'm not going to pay for anything that i did not get. isaid either take it all off or i was not going to pay any of my bill (included 5 people) and that he could call the police...which he did..we waited outside for them to arrive. after telling our side the officer went to talk to the owner. the officer then came back and said there was nothing she could do and we would have to pay (i already knew this) but i made my point...i could take him to court hummm!!! the officer told us there has been numerous similar complaints about this place and i beieve it. we did use our credit card and disputed the charges. this guy is unbelievable i will never go back and i suggest you find something else while in kdh | |

Bob's grill was a place I always enjoyed taking my children to on our trip out of town. This year, we decided to stop in for dinner and take advantage of the all you coan eat special. The experience all around was terrible, worst in OBX ever. We waited at least 20 mins to be seated, much less acknowledged while we stared at emplty tables throughout. The woman who sat us, stated she was quitting that night bc the place was terrible and the staff was just as bad as the food. Thinking I knew otherwise from their breakfasts, we stayed. Our server, (different woman than the one who sat us) was less than pleased to be working, and it showed. Our food was awful as well. I have had better seafood in Ohio. And not to mention, the all you can eat part took over 20 mins to get a second portion. It was terrible all the way around. It was our last dinner on the beach, and unfortunately, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Do not go there. | |

I've been coming here for years and finally gave ''Bob's'' a try. The breakfast is delicious. Prices are fair, food was abundant and yummy. This year we will try dinner. Maybe for the all you can eat crablegs & shrimp. | |

Our loss for missing the other years... food was excellent, value was great and waitress was awesome! No need to ''eat and get the hell out'' - stay and enjoy, we did and we'll be back! | |

Slow and forgetful service (it was not that crowded). My son was served sour milk (which unfortunately was not discovered until he had swallowed a big mouthful of it). No apology from the waiter - it was a bother to get us fresh milk. Won't be going back. | |
