Kitty Hawk Kites Wright Kite FestivalWhen: Saturday, July 12, 2008 - Sunday, July 13, 2008 Where: Wright Brothers National Memorial This kite festival celebrates 105 years of flight with professional kite fliers from all over the world. Spectators can see a large kite including a 75ft. octopus and 40ft. mantaray's, fly in the air at the base of the Wright Brothers Monument. Stunt kite demos, games, kid's kite making, etc. will all be highlights of this event.
