very sorry to hear of your loss! good food,good atmosphere ,good people and now cold beer ! will certainly be stopping in several times during our two week stay in september

Me and my hub eat there 2 times it was great, but I couldn't eat the crabcake sandwich it was way to spicy for me...other than that we will go back and have some dinner!

Hatterasman was a great place to go and hang out and chill. the owner frank and his family were very warm and welcome. the food was awesome and for a very cheap price. my friend and i ate there everyday. i would highly recommend this place!

I have stopped in there 3 times this summer and each time the food has been really tasty. I have tried both burgers and the fresh fried fish and all have been excellent fare for the $. It is nothing fancy but a great place to eat lunch. Funny thing though as of yesterday, 8/17/08, they have yet to receive the ABC permit to sell beers, so I couldn't have one while I waited for my lunch...

We ordered for 5 people and none of it was good....I had a beer that was good while I waited 20 minutes to pick up a carry out I had showed up late to pick up.

The Hatterasman epitomize the atmosphere in Hatteras Village...laid-back. Great food at a good value in a fun atmosphere. Stroll in after a day at the beach to get a cold beer and wonderful fish tacos. Great flavor from fresh, local fish makes these worth the drive. The Sushi is a treat as well and is prepared by the owner right in front of you. It's the best I've had outside of New York. (Got Wasabi?) The kids always like the burgers and fries that are available as well. Fun place and always our first stop when we hit the beach.
