The Harbor Deli at Hatteras Harbor Marina opens at 5 am and offers breakfast, lunch and take-out fare. Enjoy sitting on the air conditioned enclosed porch or pick up lunches for a fishing trip before you leave the dock; calling ahead is encouraged. Breakfast includes biscuit and bagel sandwiches. The lunch menu is large, with lots of specialty sandwiches, cold-cut sandwiches, seafood salads and sides. You can also get ice cream for an afternoon treat. It's usually open until about 6 p.m. in the summer months.

First let me start by saying I am the new owner of the Harbor Deli. We have taken our menu and customers seriously these last few months. The old customers are happy to see it back to what it should be and delighted at the changes as well. People tell me over and over again how much they truly enjoyed the food. I appreciate the nice reviews and hope to see more!

Try it again, those ''new'' people have left and now, it is great again! Not the same as the original, but still super! The salads are fresh, the sandwiches are huge, the coffee is great!

We stopped at the Hatteras Harbor Deli on our way back to Rodanthe for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised at their large menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and a very good value. The service was a bit slow that day but only because a large group of bikers had arrived right before us and they had a lot of orders to fill all at once. I would go there again for sure. Great chicken salad!
