The Gingerbread House is open for breakfast and dinner. They're famous for their baked goods, and specialty cakes are available if you give them a day's notice. For breakfast, try egg sandwiches, omelets, French toast, waffles or pastries. For dinner they offer pizza on homemade dough with a mind-boggling array of toppings. Pizza is available for take out, and they deliver in the summer. The homemade cookies and desserts are irresistible.

My family has been vacationing in Avon NC for a couple of years now. Last year, on our last morning in OBX, a couple of us stopped at the Gingerbread House to pick up a few pastries for the rest of the group. Along with the amazing pastries, we had the fresh squeezed orange juice...AMAZING! Had we known about the breakfast selection, we would have made the drive from Avon every morning. We'll be back in May '09, and the first thing we do will be to go to the Gingerbread House for some orange juice and pastries.

Best Pizza that I've had!

We've been going to Hatteras for 14 yrs and it is tradition to eat pizza at the Gingerbread House. We make several trips back just for eclairs or something else yummy from the bakery. Their biscuits are awesome too! Best pizza ever hands down! You should definitely try it when you are in Frisco!

AWESOME Pizza Selection

We've been going to Cape Hatteras for years. One of the places we LOVE to visit is the Gingerbread House Bakery to get their pizza for dinner and gingerbread cookies or cake for dessert. Their seafood lovers pizza is one of the best tasting pizzas we've ever had. It has lump crab meat, scallops, and other seafood. Yum!!! We also love their Greek Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza. The crust isn't quite as good as a good NYC thin crust, but the choice of toppings make it both unusual and DELICIOUS!! Don't miss checking this place out.

The baked goods (particularly the gingerbread and chocolate chip cookies) are delicious, huge and very reasonably prices. On our last visit, I bought several pieces of gingerbread to enjoy once we returned home...they never made it out of the car! We've ordered the pizza to go one time...it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was definately well above average...we're definately going back during out trip next week!!

The breakfasts are great, large portions huge donuts and pastries.. The pizza is the best hands down in eastern NC. Something like 35 toppings and many specialty pies.. Don't miss this place...
