While vacationing in nags head just 2 weeks ago we decided to travel early one morning to see hatteras lighthouse. Since it didn't open till 9:00 we had an hour to kill. Stopped at this lovely coffee shop in buxton close to the lighthouse and could not have been more thrilled!!They had every kind of coffee, tea, baked goods etc. We enjoyed our reasonably priced ,and delicious breakfast on the screened in porch. Everyone said hello to everyone. It felt a little bit like paradise. After breakfast we had some time to browse the gift shop and my husband bought me a beautiful, one of a kind, hand made necklace that I will cherish always. As I will our stop at that quaint coffee shop. We were first up to the lighthouse and enjoyed the most wonderful special day, Starting with Island Perks!!!!!
We'll be back next year!!
