Unfortunately, it think their passion and excitement has been mistaken for ''pushiness''. Too bad because you're missing out if you don't go in. Take your time and definitely be open to trying everything on! I was in the industry for several years and was a personal shopper for many in the Washington D.C. area and I assure they know fashion and while ''very cute'' may be a tired expression is often the perfect, simplest one. I'm sure they,re just trying to cram in as much as possible - but it did not make for an aesthetically pleasing environment. Why are there no mirrors in the changing rooms? I do have to agree with previous comments about the assistants being intrusive - I think it comes from a misguided wish to provide good service - some people do seem to like it, so maybe they need to be a little more observant of customer responses to their overtures. | |

I just discovered this store last year and was so excited to finally go back again last week. The clothes are amazing and the atmosphere is fun.

While I typically know what I like when it comes to clothes, they encouraged me to try on some other things too. I obliged and ended up buying some really nice things that I otherwise would have overlooked-- including a few things that my husband loved! My guess is that they follow you around the store for two reasons-- to be heplful and to prevent theft. The store is quite cluttered and people could easily take advantage of that. Overall, a great store. I will certainly be back. I echo the comment that an online store would be fantastic! | |

I read the reviews referring to the saleswomen and how they were a bit pushy i'll say. i didn't really notice when i was there, but when i think back upon my visit the saleswomen did question most male visistors upon there arrival. It is definitely pricier than most of the other stores I went into, but I was okay with that because it's more of a boutique than a regular old clothing store. I do agree with the fact that they need mirrors in the dressing rooms because I did NOT like having to come out of my dressing room to see how I looked. I don't want to stand there and decide whether I'm going to buy something in front of other shoppers. There was only one salesperson there when I went in, and I did feel like I was being watched the entire time I shopped, but she was not pushy at all (thankfully, because I don't like that). But overall, I really liked the merchandise! | |

When I finally did try on a dress I came out of the changing room to show my husband only to find him being ushered away from the store by an older saleswoman who announced to him (and anyone else in a 10 ft radius) that they didn't like ''boys'' in the store (my husband is 45!!!). He was so embarrassed by her behavior that he left immediately and I followed as quickly as I could.
If this is a ''girls only'' store then it should be stated clearly on the door as it is very embarrassing for spouses to be treated in this way. Also, couples who like to shop together would know to avoid it.
Finally, I would say that most adults in their forties do not appreciate being called ''boys'' or ''girls.'' | |

I adored the clothes and thought the prices were reasonable but one thing I did not like was the fact that theres no mirrors in the dressing rooms. Not all customers want everyone in the store to watch them as they look at themselves trying on clothes.
Something else that really bothered me was one saleswoman's remark she made. I asked to hold onto my dress while I was shopping and she told me that she was going to hold it for me. I asked her if I could hold it because I wanted to think about making the purchase and she said no. So I walked away and told her I didn't want to buy it. This woman was definitely older than the majority of women working there and tried very hard to act younger. All of the other women who assisted me were very kind and helpful.
By the way, they need to cut down on the ''SUPER CUTE''. | |
