The Left Bank Restaurant was given the AAA Four Diamond Award and is the most acclaimed restaurant on the Outer Banks. When you dine at The Left Bank, you can choose between either a 3-course or 7-course meal, and you will also enjoy the excellent wine list. French-inspired contemporary cuisine is served at The Left Bank, which changes the menu each season. You will also enjoy the incredible views of the Currituck Sound seen from the restaurant.

Since beginning to visit the Outer Banks years ago with my entire family, my husband and I always set aside an evening to dine at the Left Bank. While the service can range from good to excellent, the quality of the food and variety has always left little to desire. The wine list is comprehensive and they offer a fine selection of ½ bottles as well. The food is innovative and impeccable prepared. The building itself is very unique and a great place to view sound front sunsets. The bar also has a great selection of novelty drinks including a killer Key Lime Martini. Be prepared to shell out some cash but it is certainly worth it if you are looking for a true fine dining experience while staying on the Outer Banks.

great place for a romantic getaway!!

the Sanderling is a wonderful hotel with great service! We were lucky to get a ''loft'' with sitting area downstairs and sleeping area upstairs. The Left Bank, the hotel's fine dining restaurant, is an experience in itself! Truly worldclass.
The only comment I have is that somebody needs to figure out the way the 100 US$ gift certificate works
